$185 one way for 2 adults with car (and small dog). Sounds pricey, but think of the fuel and time saving and it is actually a great deal. We drove through Port Augusta on our way west to the Eyre, but chose to come back via the ferry. Smooth day, a bit chilly, as we had to sit outside in the upstairs dog area - at least they allowed the dog, so cannot complain about that. Takes 2 hours to cross between Walleroo and Lucky Bay. Would do the same when touring that area again (drive one way, take the ferry the other way). MAKE SURE TO BOOK. If the boat is full, you will have to wait a day or make the drive anyway through Port Augusta.
